Labor:         $60.00/hr

Haul and Launch: With trailer: $3/ft one way, $5/ft round trip. 

On hydraulic trailer (or a trailer we provide): $6/ft one way. $10/ft round trip.

Winter Storage: Outside only, September 1st to July 1st

Storage Only (full season)      $25/ft

Storage Only (monthly) $150/month

Shrink Wrap (frame and cover) $17.50/ft

Dingy handling and storage (turned over in yard) : $100

Uncovering and shrink wrap and frame storage: $2/ft. 

Storage Package: Haul, cover, storage, launch: $45/ft

$5/ft extra each way if the boat comes without a trailer. 

Batteries: Charging and winterization:   $25 each

Mast Removal and Indoor Storage:  $200

Mast Re-stepping:  $200

Mast Storage Only: $100

Pressure Washing Hull: $3/ft (Boats that require extraordinary cleaning and scraping add $45/hr for additional labor).

Engine Winterization: (drain and replace lower unit oil, flush and fog engine, treat gas, lubricate)

Two Stroke Outboards: Up to 50 hp $100

      Up to 100 hp $125

      Over 100 hp $150

Four Stroke Outboards: add $45 for oil change plus materials and oil disposal charges.

Inboard/Outboards: $150

Inboards: $150

Inboards and I/O Oil Change (standard procedure on all engines): $65 plus materials

Disposal of contaminated gas: $10/gallon

New Fuel Water separators (standard procedure on all engines): $25-35                 

Extras:

                      Winterizing Fresh Water systems: $100 - $150 variable

                      Outboard Storage: $50

                      $60/hr for misc boat yard labor.

 

All boats stored at Back River Boat Yard are strongly encouraged to have full winterization services, pressure washing, and bottom painting. We assume, unless otherwise specified, that boats stored here desire the basic winterization procedures to ensure safe winter storage, including (but not limited to) Fuel treatment, Pressure washing, Engine winterization, oil and fuel water separator changes, battery treatment, and shrink wrapping .

 

SPRING WORK

Bottom Painting: $22/ft (includes Petit eco anti-fouling paint, all labor and materials).

New Boats (never painted): $40/ft (De-waxing, sanding, primed, painted. All eco products used).

Shrink wrap removal and recycling or storing for reuse. $2/ ft. 

Basic Boat Cleaning: (pressure washing topsides, deck, cockpit etc, not including removal of persistent stains or trace debris, pine needles.): $6/ft

Prime Boat Cleaning Package: (vacuuming, pressure washing, scrubbing deck, cockpit, topsides, etc and compartments) $10/ft

Buffing: Wash, cleaner/wax and buff of hull: $10/ft ($12.50/ft if compound is required).

Wash and Wax Topsides: $40/ hr + materials

All other services: 65/hr

Water stain removal $1/ft (we use a biodegradable product to remove the yellowy, persistent water line stains. Most boatyards use heavy acids to achieve this.)

Land Test: $65 (reattach batteries, top off the charge, and load test them. Clean out gas lines, fill water separator filters, check fluid levels, attach ears and test run the engine.) 

Water Test: $65 (Launch the boat and run until it comes up to temperature. Make sure water pump is working, check bilge pump etc, and basic systems check).

Gas: $5/ gal. (We don’t have a gas dock, and transporting the gas adds to the cost. We don’t make any money on this process, and offer it only as a convenience for customers. Usually, we make sure you have enough to get started, and recommend topping off at a gas dock).

Summer Storage: $150/month July- September

Customers are welcome to work on their boats at the yard on any above water line projects. For insurance reasons, all work done below the water line, besides bottom painting, must be completed by employees of Back River Boat Yard.

Summer trailer storage is $50 for storage customers. $100 for non-storage customers.

All rates are subject to change without notice. Back River Boat Yard is not responsible for loss due to fire, weather, theft, vandalism, or natural wear and tear. All boat related gear or vehicles, trailers etc, left on the premise are done so at the owner’s risk.
